The Matoran are the life of the BIONICLE universe. These inhabitants of Mata Nui, Metru Nui, and the rest of the universe take many forms, and have many different interests, but most will come together when needed. Matoran usually live in like environments, such as all carvers living in Po-Koro, or all teachers in Ga-Metru. While small in stature, they are not to be underestimated, as shown by Takua's brave explorations or Nuparu's brilliant invention of the Boxor vehicle.
